Blackall Range Independent School is an incorporated association governed by the School Board. The School Board is comprised of volunteers who have a passion for independent schools and the continued success of our school community.

The Blackall Range Independent School Governing Board plays an important role in supporting the long-term direction, sustainability, and governance of the school.

The Board acts in the best interests of the school community, ensuring that decisions are made with careful consideration of students, families, staff, and the future of the school. Through its governance role, the Board supports the Principal and school leadership while maintaining oversight of key areas such as strategic planning, financial responsibility, policy, compliance, risk, and school improvement.

The Board is committed to upholding the values, ethos, and motto of Blackall Range Independent School. Its purpose is to help ensure the school continues to provide a safe, inclusive, caring, and child-centred learning environment where students are supported to grow, belong, and thrive.

In all aspects of its work, the Board seeks to act with integrity, transparency, and a shared commitment to the ongoing success of the school and its community.
